Steve Pandelidis runs a great race in Atlantic City

On October 18th, 2015, Steve Pandelidis cranked out a fabulous run at the AmeriHealth NJ Atlantic City Half Marathon.   He felt this years race was an improvement over last years with better cadence and pacing which allowed for a very solid finish.  He was very pleased with pacing 15th/85 in his category.   Congratulations Steve!  NOW, on to the marathon!

Greg Judin Rocks the Momentum Dual X Duathlon

On October 17th 2015, Greg Judin shot out of the starting line and raced to the single track of the first leg (5k Run) in the Dual X Duathlon at the Van Gaalen Cheese Farm in Skeerpoort, North West, South Africa.   He started a little fast, out if necessity, to avoid getting trapped in the difficult to pass single track which was a very short distance from the starting line.  His race proceeded smoothly through the 30k MtBike and the 2.5k final run of the race.  He finished in 2:02 min and finished 6th in his category.  Congratulations Greg!

Ken Nickerson completes Bar Harbour, ME to Harvard, MA Solo Excursion

Congratulations goes out to Ken Nickerson who completed his very own cycling tour  of 408miles from Bar Harbour, ME to his home in Harvard, MA from September 20th to September 24th, 2015.   Over the course of these 5 days, Ken rode unsupported (carried all his gear) over 24,000 ft of elevation.  He racked up a total of 1073 TSS on scenic roads he chose from a combination of Adventure Cycling Association routes and Strava's Global Heat Map (a great way to discover popular cycling roads!).   The entire summer Ken worked to build his endurance, and it really payed off.  His post workout comments were riddled with words akin to his comments on day 4, "Legs felt great today!" Check out some of the beautiful scenery he encountered along the way in the photo collage.
